“To change rDNS/PTR/hostname, please perform these steps: Login to the Clients Area; At the top menu select “My Services > VPS” tab; Find desirable VPS and press the “Manage” button; For main IP address: Press “Hostname” button; Enter desired domain/subdomain; Press “Continue”. For additional IP addresses: Under “IP Address” near IP which hostname you want to change press “[PTR]”; Enter desired domain/subdomain; Press “Continue”. Attention #1: Domain/subdomain must be pointed (redirected) to the server’s IP address. This can be done either at your domain registrar or with ours DNS manager. You should wait up to 24 hours after domain is pointed before changing hostname/rDNS/PTR. Attention #2: After hostname/rDNS/PTR is changed to your domain/subdomain it will be not possible to change it back to default hostname/rDNS/PTR. More information about what can be done with VPS via Clients Area can be found in our community forum.”

If you meet requirements for refund (please read Refund Policy for more information) you should: Submit a support request by asking for refund and provide: Brief description of your reason for cancellation; VPS hostname or IP you want to get refund for.”

“Senseihost has a DNS Manager allows you to easily set up your domain from the Senseihost client area. This tool is free of charge and anyone can order it via Clients Area. It can help you to not only set up a domain and point it to one of our servers but also edit the DNS zone and other records, such as MX, TXT, CNAME and etc. Add DNS Manager into your Client Area DNS Manager is not added to Client Area by default, but you can order it for free as any other service. To order DNS Manager do the following: Sign into your Client Area, press “Order New Service“, choose “DNS” and then press “Continue“. After you confirm, DNS Manager will be added to your Client Area and you will be able to see it on your “Services” section. Configure your Domain Now we need to move into the Time4VPS client area. Within the DNS Management section, click on “Add Domain“, and fill in the information of the server you want to connect it to. Note: The domain name does not have a “www” at the beginning. Here are few examples: DNS records CNAME records – are another commonly used type of DNS entry and are used to point a domain or subdomain to another hostname. CNAME records Mail Exchanger (MX) records – are used to help route email according the domain owners preference. The MX record itself specifies which server(s) to attempt to use to deliver mail to when this type of request is made to the domain. These records has additional variable – Priority, which identifies which server (if there are few) should be used first. mx-record TXT records – are used to store any text-based information that can be grabbed when necessary. We most commonly see TXT records used to hold SPF data and verify domain ownership. TXT records There are some more records for example: AAAA, NS, SRV, which are used rarely so we will not get into details here.”
