Do I need to buy a new domain to buy a shared hosting plan?
You need a domain name to start with the shared hosting plan. You can buy the domain name from Nexahost, from some other domain registrar or you can use your already existing domain name. However, in case you use the domain name purchased from other web hosts, you will need to point it to us by editing the DNS settings.
Can I transfer my web hosting to Nexahost?
Yes, we do migration for a number of cases, like if you go for upgraded plans from the existing plan or for migration of your hosting account from another provider to Nexahost etc. However, there is a limitation that the data should be lesser than or equal to 10 GB or the number of websites should be lesser than or equal to 5 websites. For more data, each website or domain will cost additionally.
Does Linux shared hosting include email hosting too?
You get a hosting control panel when you purchase your shared hosting. Depending upon the platform you select, you can manage your website on Nexahost shared hosting.
Can I host several websites on a Cloud Instance ?
Yes. A Cloud Instance can be partitioned, and organised to suit your requirements. This means you can use it to host several websites or projects, by allocating a private space to each one. You choose the volume of each space, too. To simplify how you do this, you can install a web hosting control panel like Plesk or cPanel.
Who can use a Cloud Instance ?
Using a VPS requires basic knowledge of server administration. It is essential for managing the operating system (Linux, Windows, PrestaShop or WordPress) installed on the machine, and configuring the applications.
