Can I ever lose my Affiliate Credit?

As long as a client you have referred keeps paying you and you have at least one active product yourself with Big Wet Fish then will continue to get 15% recurring commission. Here are a few possible scenarios where we would take credit back from you. Please bear in mind if you have withdrawn your affiliate credit and one of the below scenarios happens we would need to receive that back within a reasonable period of time. If we receive a Paypal Dispute or a Card Chargeback for the payment we have paid out affiliate credit on and that chargeback is upheld and we lose the money we would require the 20% to be paid back either by us removing it from your affiliate balance, marking unpaid an invoice that was marked as paid with that affiliate balance or by asking you to pay us the 15% back. If a client who pays annually cancels say 6 months into their annual contract and asks for 6 months refund we would require 6 months affiliate payment back either by us removing it from your affiliate balance, marking unpaid an invoice that was marked as paid with that affiliate balance or by asking you to pay us the 15% back. If a client who you have received affiliate credit on downgrades their package and asks for a pro rata refund of unused months we would require this affiliate payment to be adjusted accordingly. Please note we enter into this affiliate scheme in good faith and we will pay 15% commission. The only case we would ask for that commission back is in a similar situation to those described above.

Upgrades are very straightforward and very cost effective. We also offer one off payments on certain server upgrades so this can make them even more cost effective. Let’s say you have a server with 16GB RAM and you want to increace that to 32GB RAM. Simply open a helpdesk ticket and we can schedule it at a time to suit you with the minimal of downtime. We will also fully manage complete server upgrades for you with minimum downtime. We can build your new server and rack it side by side with your existing server (even with a private network if needed for faster data transfer). We’ll work with you to plan the data migration to provide the least amount of downtime for you and your clients.

How long does it take to provision a Dedicated Server?

All Dedicated Servers are built to order and the length of time will depend upon the specification. For most standard builds we will have the parts in stock so the server will be on line within 24-36 hours weebdays (slightly longer on the weekends). If it involves a special order then there will be a further 48 hour delay on the buiid. All servers are ordered the moment we receive the first payment and you have passed our anti fraid checks (if necessary). We aim to have all servers enter the build queue within an hour of payment being received.
