What is a mailing list?
If you want to repeatedly send an email to anywhere from 10 to 100,000 of your regular customers, you need a mailing list. By sending an email to the mailing list, it ensures that the email is forwarded to all the associated members.A mailing list consists of the mailing list itself and a list server that is used to manage unsubscribes and subscriptions to the mailing list. The list server is controlled by sending emails to the list server. For example, it can be JOIN (join me to the list) or LEAVE (remove me from the list). A list server means that people can sign up and unsubscribe themselves and is usually used via a link at the bottom of the e-mail.
WHAT HAPPENS IF THE SAME EMAIL ADDRESS APPEARS IN SEVERAL PLACES IN THE LIST FILE?
The mailing list email is sent to everyone on the list. If the same email is there several times, the person receives the email the number of times he appears in the file. You cannot register the same address through your list server several times, so if the same address is in the file, it is because you have uploaded the list file yourself. If a person, on the other hand, leaves the list by sending the leave command, he is removed from all the places where his address is listed.
